Unfortunately there will has been yet another cancellation of a big fight. Sam Sexton 13-1 (6), the Commonwealth heavyweight champion has had to withdraw from his challenge to Danny Williams 41-8 (31) on 13th February.

Sexton who according to gym reports was in the fighting shape of his life, has cited a hand injury for the postponement of the bout.

Sexton put at midday today on his Facebook page the following statement:

"Sam Sexton is very sorry 2 say but I won’t be fighting on feb 13th due to a hand injury. Hopefully the fight will be postponed for a later date. Those of you who have tickets can contact whoever u got them from for a full refund, unless you still want to go. Thank you for all of ur support, this would of been the biggest army yet due to the amount of tickets sold. Hopefully you will all want to come to the next one when it is rescheduled."

Although this is a massive blow to the Warren promoted “Night of Champions” it is likely that the bill will still go ahead as it is a high quality card.
