that could really go either way! they both have 50/50 IMO.. Either Pacs speed is the factor. or Chavez body attacks. what im saying, either it is a Oscar de la hoya - Chavez bout. or it is a chavez late stoppage

the chavez that fought taylor and camacho would give anyone trouble, his punches broke down body tissues, im going for chavez, in his prime he was amachine, he destroyed rosario, who was a great fighter, pacs resume doesnt really compare to chavez

At super feather or similar it is hard to go against a prime Chavez. Awesome body puncher but obviously Pac man would have the speed. Once Chavez had got to lightweight he was past his best weight.

Chavez had an iron chin, while Manny has been buzzed a few times. I'd go with Chavez.

Chavez...in his prime he had an iron chin, a vicious body attack and an unbreakable will. I think he'd just be too much for Manny. Once Manny would find out that he couldn't get Chavez out of there early, he'd have a tough time dealing with the pressure.

When I first thought about this fight I had Chavez all the way but it is hard to not be impressed but what the Pacman has down in recent fights. But as this is in their primes I would say this fight would be at lightweight and Chavez had a chin to solid to crack and Manny does not have the exceptional boxing skills (of a prime Whittaker or Sugar Ray)that would be required to win this fight. Chavez by a late TKO.

Chavez- heavier puncher and able to land too often after he makes the necessary adjustments to cut off Pacman's in/out style from the 4-5th rounds on. Chavez UD or late stoppage, although does anyone else think Chavez might have been at risk of cutting against Pacman explosive handpeed?
