Word has spread in the boxing world that the entire show scheduled for January 30th has been cancelled.

Fight Franchise yesterday reported on the fact that Andre Berto has had to pull out of his blockbuster against Shane Mosley due to family bereavements in his native Haiti. However, despite some solid fights on the undercard it appears that the promoters have called off the entire card due to the pullout of US television giant HBO.

Obviously all fans will be disappointed that we will not get to see the Mosley-Berto fight but there was some decent match ups that will also be cancelled or at the least re-scheduled.

Yusaf Mack was scheduled to fight in a light heavyweight eliminator against the “Road Warrior” Glen Johnson. The hard punching Mack versus the non stop Johnson would have made for a good bout.

With Daniel Ponce De Leon continuing his rehabitation, Sergio Mora making his GBP debut and ex light welterweight World champion Vivian Harris all scheduled to be on the bill, once again boxing fans will feel short changed.
